Prepare for awesome. Whatever it is you do for that… do it. I have no idea what you may have thought of They Might Be Giants prior to this post. If you are unfamiliar, prepare for awesome. You are hereby twice warned.

What does the scribble drawing above have in common with the video below? Today's post is a closeup look at a toddler's handheld digital learning experience. This experience is a fun little mashup of content from TMBG music videos, an iPhone app designed to emulate the art of Jackson Pollock, and some father-daughter time. Come on, how could that not turn out well?

Being a bit of a music snob, I had little use for TMBG.  This was prior to stumbling across an NPR interview with John and John, who were promoting thier new CD, "Here Comes Science".  If anyone who is reading this is unaware of these fellows and their other works, run, don't walk, to where ever it is you get your music.  "Here Come the ABC's" and "Here Come the 1 2 3's" are almost as perfect as 'Science'.  Addicting, clever, informative and just plain fun all wrapped up in impressive musicianship!

I couldn't have said that better...  from the first sentence to the last. I wish I was that succinct. My blog would be far shorter.  (and I'd post more often)
