Peeing Egg Lab

Students began the Peeing Egg lab during class today. This is the first of three days we will do this lab. We will wait at least 2 days between each part of the lab to ensure as much success as possible. A major part of my lab design is to get students thinking. Seeing color in sounds has a genetic link

Great information from CNN regarding the condition of synesthesia. I teach with a language arts teacher who suffers from this condition. She is willing to discuss it with both students and adults. I find the genetics behind this condition to be quite interesting. It's linked to four distinct gene areas instead of a single area. What great genetic research.
