"I actually do "continual" test prep throughout the year. I am fortunate to have student response devices (aka "clickers") and the kids LOVE them. I use them to "review" before major tests in class, so they think they…"

"I know it's summer & most people are out of commission, but I am going to try a different approach this year. Instead of giving my students a comprehensive study guide at the end of the year to help prepare for the exam, I am giving it in…"

"Thanks! Creative commons is wonderful. As to your question about the wildlife rehabilitation, I usually take care of the baby squirrels and turtles. It's so hard not to get attached!"

Hey Shelly..... welcoming (once again today) another "gardener."

I tell you what- if someone created another Ning network for gardening... a Venn diagram of "there" and "here" would be darn-near concentric!

Glad to have you...

Welcome Shelly! Your work with Wildlife rehabilitation sounds interesting. Is that volunteer work?

I prefer using creative commons images on Flickr (you can do an advanced search to find them), but if I can't find any there I'll just use google. I still try to use public domain images only. While Wikipedia isn't a trustworthy source of info, all of the pictures there are public domain or creative commons. So, I'll use that source also.

I noticed you're a wildlife rehabilitator! How cool! I worked in that field for a couple of years. Do you specialize in anything? My favorite was always birds.
