You sound as if you have an amazing setup for Environmental Science!
I taught it last year - and I remember I couldn't seem to get my students too incredibly interested in all of the various aspects of mining - even though I was interested of course. I imagine it would have been much different if we had a strip mine out back! Wow!

BTW, Chris wants to know when we are gong to write another Bio-Bits column. Maybe we should write 2 at a time and give her something to fill in the pages of the newsletter. LOL
