Favorite course I currently teach & why:
Middle School Science in NC covers a different area per quarter. Grade 7 includes Weather & Atmosphere; Heredity & Genetics; Human Body Systems; Motion & Forces. The life science are a favorite, and physics is a passion.
Interests (away from work):
My 3 boys, learning new stuff, all science, life outdoors, SCUBA, connecting with like-minded folks, wine, cooking, swimming/biking/running, soccer (the real football).... not in a particular order! :)

Checked the Raleigh forecast for next week- 30s and 40s. You'd think I would be disappointed, but no - temps here will be below zero, with potential windchills of 50 below. So I will gladly fly into your warmer city! :)

MaryLou,That video was amazing! I couldn't believe how close they got to the camera! Wow. Did you just use a video camera with a housing?
